By the time you read this I will be on a two day vacation at our cabin. Well it is a vacation for the kiddos and me but hubby being the never sit still over achiever that he is will be finishing the benches on the new front deck he just built. He will probably chop wood, rake leaves, and generally make himself very useful. I on the other hand will be taking long walks with the kids and the camera, swinging in the hammock with the kids, eating s'mores again with the kids, and generally being not as useful but way more fun! I won't even be thinking of the overgrown strawberry beds, or rose eating camel at home...well not too much anyway!
Here are a couple of the hundreds, ok thousands, of shots I've taken over the past year since we've owned the place. When I get back I'll tell you the story of how we came to own it and how it has turned into the 'money pit on the lake' as we so foundly refer to it!
