I was meandering around the orchard the other day making mental notes of things to get done this winter...prune the grapes, prune the fruit trees, mulch, cut down blackberries, tie up the marionberries, you know, the never ending list that gardeners have whether on paper, or like me, in their overcrowded heads!
I noticed that I had missed a few bits of fruit when I was doing the last of the harvesting. Now that the leaves are gone the fruit looks so beautiful hanging there against such a stark back drop.
Grapes...baby boy ate, yummy!
Golden Delicious Apple...sweet girl tried but noticed the brown spots and wouldn't eat anymore...she was sure worms were involved!
Black Currant...mama ate, slightly soft but still scrumptious!
Now that there is nothing left to eat I guess I need to get started on that list...
