Before I get to today's little tale I must share with you my thoughts on this picture of sweet hubby, baby boy and 1st born son...
This is a close approximation of the conversation I had in my head as I looked at it...
If I ever get lost I will always know which way is north because moss certainly does grow on the north sides of the trees around here...I like that color.
What happened to what you were taught as a young child? You are eating a hot dog and drinking soda...what happened to veggie burgers and soy milk?????
I hope you at least still recycle...I need to have a talk with that boy!
What kind of baby likes salt and pepper chips?
Its hard to believe that that man is almost 50...darn he looks good!
What is that red thing hanging on the tree?
I love Carhart.
He better not throw that 'disposable' cup in the garbage...it has at least another 20 good washings left in it.
Doesn't he realize that if he keeps losing bets he will forever have to wear hats to cover his shaved head?
Now I just wish he would shave his face...
Darn it is nice to have some of the big ones around...why did they have to go and get big and leave me????
This is why it is a good thing husbands are not mind readers...if mine could see all the random thoughts that flit and flutter through my brain all day he would certainly be amazed and slightly scared...and might suggest I get professional help!
OK...where were we?
If Baby Boy really likes you...
Really and truly likes you...
Then he will do this....
His little forehead bump!
He reminds me of a baby goat...only cuter
...and less hairy
...with only two legs
...and no beard
...yet!
Whahhhh I do not want my baby with his sweet perfectly soft skin to grow up and get all big and hairy
...and eat hot dogs and drink soda
...no I must find some way to prevent this
I must!
Note: I was totally unprepared for these pictures...I was photographing bugs or flowers or something and turned around to catch this little exchange. The photo quality isn't the best, but the content stole my mama's heart!
Another Note: If any of you have not tried Kettle Chips you do not know what you are missing, hubby swears the salt and pepper chips were made by some kind of chip genius...I loved their baked chips in the aged cheddar or slightly salted flavors...really they are soooooo good! If you want you can buy them directly from the website and have their cruncy yumminess delivered right to your door...
