After making our chilled pumpkin soup we had the seeds to take care of...
Here is what we did...
Wash as much of the orange stuff off as you can,
Let dry overnight on a clean towel.
Preheat oven to 300F
In bowl coat seeds with a very light coat of vegetable oil or melted butter.
Spread onto a cookie sheet in a single layer.
Sprinkle with salt.
For these I also sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice...Sweet Girl's choice
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until toasted.
As soon as you pull them out of the oven sprinkle lightly with sugar...again Sweet Girl's idea!

There are many different ways you can do your seeds...
Spicy...try cayenne and black pepper along with salt
Savory...Worschestershire sauce and garlic powder
Chili...cumin and garlic
Cheesy...parmesan
Almost naked...sea salt
Salt Free...Mrs Dash
Italian...Italian seasoning blend
Oh the varities you can use goes on and on!
