Before I get started today I wanted to let you all know that the strange, weird, and slightly disturbing thing in the last shot from yesterday was yes indeed the guts from a...
Pomegranate!
A couple of guesses made me laugh...
camel barf and a piece of lobster!
Roast Garlicious got it right first and then
Karrie and Alan...thanks for visiting and excusing my weirdness!

OK...moving on to the important matter of the day.
Haiti***
I sew.
I have sewn since I was about 12 years old...my grandmother taught me. I loved her very much...she was an awesome seamstress.
After having 3 boys in a row I LOVE to sew little girl things.
Sometimes I sew fancy things with vintage fabric and hand beaded flowers...
But mostly I sew things that are simple and fun!
Or sweet...
Today I am sewing for those in need...
Those in Haiti.
This is a group of crafters on etsy who are sewing, knitting, quilting, photographing and creating with all of the proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
I have donated a matching sister set. Each include a little twirly skirt and matching tank top. They are sizes 2t and one 3t-4t. I'm asking $40 per set which includes Priority Mail shipping. All going to help those in desperate need in Haiti.
So far there has been over $20,000 raised!
Please take the time to go look around, there are pages and pages of lovely handcrafted items in all price ranges.

All for a very good cause!
