There is an expression that says 'make hay while the sun is shining'...if you live in the country and have hay fields you realize exactly what that means. Do what you can when the opportunity arises...especially when involves the sun in the Pacific Northwest.
Well my kids truly believe that when the sun shines this time of year it is time for mud play!
Look...there's a little one in yonder hay field! What could he be up to?
We have a little spring that runs most of the year in one of our fields...it is a magnet for little kids.
Yep we'll have water here until July...therefore we'll have mud here until July!
Mud is soooo fascinating!
And so messy...
And fun!
Ahhh to be a kid again! What was Sweet Girl doing during this?
Well she was making mud pies and decorating them with sticks and feathers...
And trying to avoid the little mud monster...grrrrrrrr!
