Well I took a great chance and planted sugar snap peas this week...yes...in FEBRUARY!
I am going to plant every two weeks through April and keep a journal of the results of each planting along the weather over the next 2+ months. I know not every late winter brings 60+ degree weather but I am going to take advantage of this year's unseasonably warm February...we will see if the gamble will pay off in early pea bounty or moldy pea seeds that don't germinate. I'll keep you post on this.
When I was weeding the last raised beds I noticed the the soil was teaming with worms...a very good sign of the health of my soul. Hey little one!
The garlic is loving this warm weather...come on baby grow!
And there are lots of seedling in our sunroom reaching for the light!
So my fellow gardeners...what is growing in your garden (or house...or greenhouse) today?
