Camellias in her hair my Garden sign of Spring

I know its spring when...

I look outside and Sweet Girl has camellias in her hair!

This a sign that indeed we have passed the worst of winter and we're well on our way into spring, the longed for time for all of us that love the outdoors. 

When hot pink camellias reach for the clear blue sky you know that we have made it again through another rainy, gray, dreary Northwest winter...yeah! 

We have two Camellia bushes up at the cabin that are well over 12 feet tall.  They are absolutely covered right now in deep pink blossoms. 

Here at home I have white camellias blooming right outside the dining room window.
