It has been raining here.
No strike that...
It has been pouring,
Noah type dumping on Western Washington
And its been windy too.
So windy that we haven't had a fire in the woodstove because the wind keeps blowing the smoke back into the house.
The kind that rattles the windows and blows your garbage cans across the pasture.
The kind of wind that you must keep your small children tethered to you for fear of them taking flight.
Yes our weather has sucked...seriously.
So today it is not raining and it isn't too windy. I am not here on the computer, I am not slaving over the stove, the sink, or the washer. No I am, and will remain until they drag my tired dirt covered body back inside, in the garden.
We will see how much one woman and one shovel can do in on one sunny day because...
Its gonna rain tomorrow too.
BLECK!
But I have not forgotten about you my dear readers, I will leave you with these photos...
Some scenes from outside, in the great outdoors.
Cause tomorrow all I will be taking pictures of is the laundry I didn't fold today...
BLECK!
At least when it rains a lot there are many rainbows to take pictures of!
Come back tomorrow for the kick off of our summer long Children's Garden contest. Help inspire our next generation of gardeners...and have some great fun in the process!
