When it rains all day, pretty much every day throughout May and June the kiddos have to be creative in the ways they entertain themselves...
May I present to you the classic mud pie...errr mud cake, as I was informed. Chocolate mud cake to be exact!
One day the kids had been out playing while I was doing dishes. I heard a knock on the back patio door and there they stood with cake in hand singing happy birthday to mama!
No, not even close to my birthday...but sweet anyway! They decided it needed more 'frosting'!
Thanks guys...that was the best mud cake I've ever had!
So even though all this rain is rotting my seeds in the ground at least its keeping the kids amused!
