Well here we are...I can't believe it has been a year since the start of last year's KinderGARDENS series.
Seriously where has the time gone?
I want a recount!
I'm quite sure I misplaced a month or two!

So here is the scoop...
KinderGARDENS is a series that will run all summer long. Each week we will come together to link up and share our ideas, dreams, successes and challenges in our gardens. There will be guest posts, giveaways, and friendly competition but...
Our main mission is to get kids into the garden, to ignite the spark in the next generation of gardeners is our goal.
Teaching kids where real food comes from is so important. When they realize that food comes from the earth and not the grocery store shelves they will learn that how we treat this planet matters...really matters.
Of course fresh, healthy fruits and veggies are so important for the health of young growing bodies! Not to mention the benefits of fresh air and the honest work of digging in the garden!
So please join us. I will be starting a new blogroll with everyone participating this year....I can't wait to 'see' familiar faces and am hoping to meet some new folks too. You don't have to have a huge elaborate garden to join us...you just need the desire to involve kids (big or little) in the joy of gardening!

So today is our first link up.
Tell us about your family. What are your plans for this year?
Are you a first time gardener who needs help and encouragement or are you a veteren gardener that can help others here?
Are you gardening with your kids or grandkids or are you doing a school garden or maybe gardening with college kids?
Are you going to expand on last year's ideas or are you going a whole different route?
What are your kids dreaming of doing this year...remember to involve them in the planning stage, after all that is why we're here!
Anyone doing a hobbit house? Ohhhh I hope so!!!
I have missed all of you and frankly I can't wait to get started! After a long hard fall and winter this is just what I needed to kick off my gardening season.
Thank you all...you are my inspiration!
